Hello!
My name is Lily Vandebeek, I am a graduate of the University of Lethbridge with a combined degree in Kinesiology and Education, majoring in Physical Education. I feel truly blessed to be a part of the Taber Christian Community. It is such an amazing opportunity to get to share both my faith and love of athletics and learning with my students! I am married to a hardworking mechanic, Christopher and we have one son together whose name is Axton!
I’ve participated and played many sports my whole life. I played post secondary basketball for the Lethbridge College and U of L and was also on the Track and Field team for the U of L in the throwing events weight throw and shotput. I love that I get to teach PE to the whole school daily, and manage their athletics as well. I truly do have my dream job.
My plan is to be a Christ centered, positive role model, creating a strong and energetic sports environment for my students.
My Deep Hope is to prepare students to serve God actively with their God-given potential through talents, experiences, joyfulness, practice and struggles to learn to honor Christ with their full responsibility.
